Hawaiʻi Native Forest Restoration (HNFR) is dedicated to giving back to the land through the enhancement and protection of native ecosystems. This is accomplished by working with private land stewards to establish and enhance native species towards a functional ecosystem. HNFR assists private land stewards to access both state and federal cost-sharing programs and non-profit sources to enable reforestation efforts. HNFR supports the community by providing sustainable employment for individuals to build their resilience and contribute to an endeavor greater than themselves.
